An Evaluatıon on The Impact of Commercıal Knowledge on Competıtıveness in The Logıstıcs Sector

Nowadays, the ability of businesses in the acquisition of information, transformation of available information into product and the control of the information have become the fundamental requirement of economic growth, productivity and ability in competing with other companies. In the empirical section of the study, a survey was conducted to the logistic companies in Iğdır and the obtained data were analyzed. The findings indicate that a significant portion of the firms stated that the use of information is important, that access to and correct use of the information needed will increase productivity and that they are open to support and training in this direction. It has been observed that firms are not sufficiently familiar with the sources of commercial information, that they allocate a lot of time on a monthly basis, but that they cannot access effective and sufficient information and experience problems, and that the purposes of accessing commercial information remain within the local of information.
