Ethics Committee Permission

According to ULAKBİM decision dated February 25, 2020, Ethics Committee Approval must be obtained for studies on animals and humans [without age limitation]. The approval should be stated in the method part of the article. Ethics committee approval must be uploaded to the system with the article. Studies that do not meet these conditions will be returned to the author (s) without being evaluated.
Statement from TR Index on the implementation of the articles of the TR Index criteria on ethical rules:

The articles related to the Code of Ethics, which were included in the previous years in the criteria, were detailed in 2020 with explanations, and it was assumed that permissions were obtained for studies requiring ethics committee approval in the field of research, and the issue of "including information about permission in the article" was added to the criteria.

However, as understood from the feedback, detailed information is needed regarding the Ethics Committee Permits. For this reason, a comprehensive study will be shared later on the TR Index web page and will be announced to you.
